Hello and thanks for stopping by. My name is Peter Thompson and I've been a mortgage lender since 1992, which makes me one of the old timers in this industry. I am considered an expert on the mortgage and housing market, and I have been quoted in papers and magazines nationwide including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, CNN, Associated Press, Bank Rate and a host of others. I approach the mortgage process different than most lenders you will find on the internet, and though I know mortgage rates are important and I always offer the best rates for each situation, I also know that this is only one part of a successful mortgage transaction.

If you have issues you need to work through, I will tell you up front what the problems are and what you need to work on in order to be able to qualify. I won’t string you along telling you what you want to hear, and then disappear when a problem surfaces.

- You will always deal with me and my team. You aren’t dealing with a call center where you talk with a different person every time you call. We will keep you informed throughout the approval process.
