Old Town

Old Town is located south of the Lincoln Park area and just east of the Gold Coast neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. While this area is more expensive to live in than most other parts of the city, it is still less expensive than the Gold Coast area of Chicago, Illinois. The El Purple and Brown lines stops at Sedgewick and Armitage and other public transportation options are plentiful and easy to access.

This historic neighborhood is also home to the Second City Players and the Chicago Historical Society. Old style architecture mingles with new condo high-rises in this part of the city and with the new construction that is constantly being put up, finding a great place to live isn’t hard.

Old Town also hosts the Old Town Arts Fair and the annual Air and Water Show. It is also home to a number of excellent schools, some of which are the most elite and well regarded in the city.
